NUEVO VALLARTA, Mexico, Feb. 12, 2016 |  La Cantina, Ameca Social House and El Mercado Market are now open for guests in a Mexican resort in Nuevo Vallarta.

Vida Vacations announced today that the newest additions to their culinary lineup — La Cantina, Ameca Social House and El Mercado Market — are now open to guests at their Nuevo Vallarta resort properties. Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta offers more than 30 dining options across the resort, including world-renowned cuisine created by their master chefs.

La Cantina, which opened across from The Grand Mayan resort, features a casual Mexican dining experience with regional dishes and chef’s favorites. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, where guests can feast on local Mexican fare and drink a cold beer while watching one of many sporting events. The eclectic design of the eatery features hardwood interiors and colorful backdrops as diners overlook the lush, tropical landscapes surrounding the resort, as well as Vidanta’s new evening lake show featuring thirty meter fountains.

The Ameca Social House is the newest addition to Vidanta Golf and is located in the Grand Luxxe Residence Tower next to the Club House. Ameca Social House is the perfect place for golfers to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails and offers stunning views of the Ameca River.

Vidanta’s El Mercado is a mix of restaurant and market, offering guests authentic, fresh Mexican street fare, including tacos, street corn and Mexican candy. The new location opened in December across from the existing Azur French Bistro and allows guests to peruse Mexican crafts for sale they would find in the local street markets in towns across the country before or after dining.

According to a prepared statement (via PR Newswire): “Vida Vacations has always been known for our innovative cuisine and dining experiences,” says Benny Michaud, Director of Hotel Operations for Grupo Vidanta. “Our new offerings are a take on traditional Mexican cuisine and experiences that we are sure our guests will enjoy. Now, they don’t have to travel far to experience true Mexico.”
