DEADLINES | Node Center for Curatorial Studies offers 2 online courses on exhibition design

BERLIN | Another reason Berlin is the progressive city is the Node Center for Curatorial Studies.  The center currently offers those interested in curatorial issues the opportunity to extend their practice in an internationally oriented e-learning program, guided by  international curators and art professionals.

The Node Center has a virtual learning environment that facilitates rich interaction through multimedia material, weekly videoconferences and feedback from the lecturers. The courses last 4 weeks and include weekly videoconferences (2 hours of duration) that allow students to interact with each other in real time through video, sound and chat tools. The videoconferences are always recorded for participants who can’t be present in real time.

Apart from the live videoconferences, lecturers set weekly assignments to apply knowledge into practice giving personal feedback to each one of the students. The course also provides suggested readings and PDF presentations to reinforce the concepts reviewed during each class.
